This sturdy wooden bench is designed for meditation in the “seiza” or kneeling position. Handcrafted in Vermont from beautiful deep grained hardwoods, it comes sanded and unfinished. Enhance your comfort with a coordinating bench cushion and a zabuton meditation mat.

The seat slopes from 8″ in the back to 6 1/2″ in the front.

May be accessorized with a DharmaCrafts bench cushion (15″ x 8″ x 2″) and a DharmaCrafts zabuton meditation mat (31″ l x 26″ w x 4″ h).
DharmaCrafts cushion designs are inspired from years of Zen Center living. “Classic” Black and Maroon cushions are made with 10 oz. cotton duck fabric. “Eco” Fern is made with 9 oz certified 100% organic cotton duck fabric and low impact dyes.
